Nicola Piras is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Philosophy Department at the University of Milan and also a member of Culinary Mind, international centre for the philosophy of food. He received his Ph.D. in environmental sciences and philosophy of science at the University of Sassari. Along the way, he spent visiting periods at Columbia University (USA) and at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg (Germany). His research interests lie at the intersection between philosophy of food, environmental philosophy, and analytic metaphysics.
