Alberto Barbieri has held a postdoctoral position at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. He received a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia in 2020. His primary research interests lie in the philosophy of mind and metaphysics, with particular attention to the nature of phenomenal consciousness, self-awareness, and the subject of experience. He is currently working on the for-me-ness (or subjective character) of experience and its relationship with other aspects of our conscious life (e.g., intentionality and the unity of consciousness).
