Antonella Tramacere carries out her research in the fields of philosophy of comparative and evolutionary psychology, neuroscience, and cognition. She pays particular attention to the foundation of self-consciousness and social understanding. Interested in how neurobiological evidence contributes to our understanding of the human mind, she is now investigating the role of emotions and mentalizing in the visual perception of oneself.
