Ernesto Perini-Santos

 

Ernesto Perini-Santos is Professor of Philosophy at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. His two main research areas are philosophy of language – where he works on the development and defense of contextualism – and history of medieval philosophy – where  his main interests are XIVth century authors, such as Ockham and Buridan, and also the sophismata. He was a Fulbright visiting scholar in Stanford University and held an Excellence Scholarship at the Université de Genève.
