Bruno Cortesi

 

Bruno Cortesi is a Ph.D. Candidate in ‘Cognitive Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind’ at the Institute for Advanced Studies IUSS of Pavia. Before that, he obtained a Master of Arts in ‘Consciousness and Embodiment’ at the University College Dublin and a Master of Arts in Philosophy at the University of Pavia. He has been a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Fribourg, a visiting Erasmus+ Master Student at the Central European University (CEU), in Budapest, A visiting student at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow (now Alumnus) of the Almo Collegio Borromeo of Pavia, recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR) as a highly qualified cultural institution. His research interests lie at the intersection between the epistemology and the metaphysics of phenomenally conscious mental phenomena. His areas of specialization include the analytic approach to phenomenology and the philosophy of mind.
