Jérôme Dokic is Professor of Cognitive Philosophy at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and a member of Institut Jean-Nicod in Paris. He has written many essays on indexicality, perception, memory and imagination. Over the past ten years, his work has focused on philosophical and empirical issues concerning noetic or epistemic feelings such as reality, presence, familiarity and confidence. More recently, he has led an interdisciplinary project, involving philosophy, psychology and the social sciences, on the experience of the sublime and its repercussions on self-experience at different levels (notably bodily and narrative).
