Emilia Margoni is a PhD student in Logic, History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pisa/Firenze (supervisor: Elena Castellani) and at the University of Geneva (supervisor: Christian Wüthrich). She holds a BS and MS in physics, and an MA in philosophy. She is currently working on a doctoral project that investigates the premises, methodologies and theoretical consequences of the Group Field Theory approach to quantum gravity. Her main interests lie at the intersection of theoretical physics and metaphysics, with a specific focus on the ontological status of spacetime within quantum gravity projects.
