Gianfranco Mormino

 

Gianfranco Mormino (1962) teaches History of ethics and Human-Animal Studies at the State University of Milan. He has written on the scientific and philosophical thought from Galileo to Newton and published critical editions of works by Huygens and Leibniz. More recently he has published volumes on René Girard’s anthropology (2012), imitation theory (2016) and animal sacrifice (2017). His last book is a history of ethics (2020).
