Brian P. McLaughlin is a Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University.  He has published numerous papers in philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, metaphysics, and philosophical logic.  He has a forthcoming book with Oxford University Press, co-authored with Vann McGee, entitled Terrestrial Logic: Bringing Formal Semantics Down to Earth.
