M. Cristina Amoretti is an Associate Professor of Philosophy of Science at the University of Genoa and a member of the board of the FINO Inter-University PhD Program in Philosophy. Her primary research interests focus on conceptual and methodological issues in the philosophy of medicine and psychiatry, particularly the nature of health and disease, with a special emphasis on the role of values in scientific practice. Among her recent books are Filosofia della scienza.
