Daniele Sgaravatti obtained PhD degrees from the University of Eastern Piedmont and St Andrews.  He started working as associate professor in 2018 in Naples, and in 2021 moved to the university of Bologna. His main research interests are in epistemology and philosophical methodology, and in particular, in the latter field, thought experiments and the a priori/a posteriori distinction.
