Eleonora Severini is Postdoctoral Fellow in Moral Philosophy at the Department of Humanities of the University of Pavia. She received her Ph.D. in Philosophy and History of Philosophy from Sapienza University of Rome in 2015. Prior to her current position, she held visiting positions at Columbia University (2013) and at Tilburg Center for Logic, Ethics, and Philosophy of Science (2015). She was Humboldt Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Duisburg-Essen (2019-2021). She specializes in ethics and epistemology, and has written on such topics as evolutionary ethics, moral progress, moral understanding, moral expertise and feminist epistemology.
