Gino Tarozzi

Gino Tarozzi, full professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Urbino since 1994, has investigated the foundations of quantum physics and the relationships between physics and epistemology. He has proposed some probabilistic generalizations of Bell’s theorem, experimental tests for a new realistic interpretation of the wave function, and an empirically meaningful reformulation of major metaphysical questions like realism, causality, holism, the nature of nothing, and the mind-body problem. Tarozzi is head of the Interuniversity Research Center in Philosophy and Foundations of Physics of the Universities of Bologna and Urbino and member of several scientific academies.
