Marta Benenti is a postdoctoral researcher in aesthetics and philosophy of mind at the University of Eastern Piedmont. She has held postdoctoral positions at the San Raffaele University in Milan, and the University of Turin. She has been a postdoctoral research fellow at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies (Columbia University), and DAAD research fellow at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain. Her research so far has focused on the phenomenon of expressiveness about which she published: Expressiveness. Perception and Emotions in the experience of expressive objects (De Gruyter, 2020).
