Tom Schoonen is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Amsterdam, before this he was a postdoc at the Centre for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, Human Abilities, in Berlin. His work is mainly in the intersection of epistemology and philosophy of cognition, with a focus on the epistemology of modality and other non-categorical thinking.
