Valentina Savojardo obtained her PhD in Philosophy and Theory of Human Sciences in 2012, at the University of Macerata.  Since 2018 she has been a permanent teacher of History and Philosophy in Secondary School. She held a Postdoctoral Grant between the years 2015 and 2016, at the University of Macerata. She is Adjunct Professor at the Humanities Department of the same university. Her research mainly concerns the problem of tacit skills in science, the relationship between tacit knowledge and neuroscience, Embodied Cognition and the role of thought experiment. For the academic years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 she has a Postdoctoral Grant on the topic of ‘Tacit knowledge and thought experiment between scientific thought and common thought’.
